ChefATL: Episode 108

Post Supervision and DIT workflows for this Emmy Award-winning, SCAD-produced series.

The Whitepaper

Developed and implemented a comprehensive Post-Production Whitepaper detailing the complete data lifecycle from set to final delivery. This document established standard operating procedures for the entire post team. (Full workflow documentation available for review upon request).

On-Set DIT & Data Management

Engineered a seamless media pipeline from production to post. All camera media was offloaded from shuttle drives to redundant master drives using DaVinci Resolve’s Clone Tool, secured with xxhash 64 checksum verification. From there, I built a standardized folder structure and transcoded editorial proxies in Resolve, ensuring a clean, rapid turnover to the editing team.

Leading the Hybrid Edit.

Managing the chaos of multiple segment editors across a hybrid workflow. I engineered a network-based (LucidLink) Premiere pipeline and an interactive tracking system to seamlessly bridge off-site cutting with in-person quality checks.

Leadership & Final Delivery

Building a solid workflow is as much about supporting the team as it is about managing the data. I lead with a people first approach and focus on keeping things collaborative so our segment editors and directors had exactly what they needed to cross the finish line smoothly. All that groundwork paid off when Episode 108 aired on WABE TV on June 25th, and the ChefATL series as a whole went on to win a regional Emmy.
